what's a book you read with summer vibes?

Positively, Penelope by the lovely Pepper Basham. i will never not recommend this book. it has everything i love - adorable romance, the most picturesque descriptions, and lots of musical references. a must-read for the summer!

if you could travel anywhere this summer, where would you go?

must i pick only one? enter distraught nomad noises alright, i must admit . . . the thought of visiting Italy/Greece in the summer is one which makes me swoon with delight. how beautiful would that be?

describe your favorite summer memory.

the 2023 young writer's conference. one of the best experiences of my life, filled with laugher and writing and bloody wolf. but here's to hoping this year is filled with many more excellent memories!

fruit, fruit, fruit!! in fact, that's my favorite food regardless of the season.

how do you usually celebrate 4th of July?

i love spending the day with my family joining in our town's local celebration. there's always lots of sugar, a US flag cake (made with strawberries and blueberries), and fireworks. this year, i had the best time running through the empty streets with my siblings, waving sparklers behind us and laughing. we had the most wonderful time (and far too much sugar). <33
